If your squad is empty, you can hire a special companion and then hire any follower.
You cannot hire special companions if your squad has one or more followers.
But you can set the count follower to 0 through the console, then hire a special companion and return the count follower.
Set PlayerFollowerCount to 0
- PlayerFollowerCount is recalculated to a real number every time you hire any non-special follower into your squad.
For example:
You hire Serana or Cicero, your follower count is 1.
Then you hire Lydia and the count remains 1 (Becouse recap).
Then you hire Aela, the quantity should be 2.
