About this mod Machine translation

I tried finding all the gray faces in the Steam version of Enderal and fixing them. If you are also playing Enderal on Steam, please help me and report grayface here.

suggestion:

If you want to experience the excellent overall preparation look, I recommend using Nerjaveika Overhauled by Enderal NPC. She covers these issues as well, and the above also enhances the visuals of the NPCs. :)

I basically just want to fix the base game NPC and maybe use her mod myself when I don't need to update this fix.

Hey,

An unknown Steam user first brought up the topic of some gray faces.

So I took the plunge and tried setting up the Enderal Creation Suite and experiencing this tool for the first time.

I had my education as a two-part hobby modder on the production scene for Gamebryo's TES IV: Oblivion, but mostly using New Vegs GECK to make a few mods, but especially translations.

Oddly enough, I myself actually play mainly in English. XD

Anyway, not even my mentor did much work on CK, but I think AltDunmer used it with a minor modification.

So I feel pretty advanced now…. Bwahahahaha!

Back to a more serious note.

You can see the problem with these two NPCs in "Undercity" in the topic,

Although it was easy to fix the woman, the man did not want to lose his white face.

I either tried generating my own mod ESP but that didn't help.

Among the ESPs that are not functioning properly, "Skyrim.esm" and "Enderal-Forgotten Stories.esm" are the main ones.

I finally tried it again on my ESP, but only with "Skyrim.esm" as the master.

it works...

Don't ask me why, I really don't know what's going on with this stupid engine.

I mean, the character won't be affected in other ESMs, but if you load it into CK with "Enderal-Forgotten Stories.esm" activated (and not just "Skyrim.esm"), it will still look different. oO

See here how I check if the NPC in question has been changed somewhere in xEdit.

But that's not the case.

There are some NPCs marked yellow that will be changed by "Enderal-Forgotten Stories.esm", but they are not marked.

So it's a mystery. oO

This is what happens when I use my mod

Feel free to report to me what other NPCs look like with gray faces or in other words: different faces and body colors.

Please open the console and click on them to give me the exact ID number, this will make it easier for me to find them. :)

However, once you enter the NPC from "Enderal-Forgotten Stories.esm" I need to create a second file, otherwise I have to add that main file to the current plugin again and the person will be broken. -.-

Guess this might be the only way to fix this issue. I don't really know what the problem was, but I'm glad it was solved somehow. XD

Let's come together and eliminate these immersion killers. :d

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
