This mod adds 1 level to the vibration tree for light armor and 2 levels for heavy armor.

describe:

This mod adds 1 level and 2 levels to the light armor and heavy armor add-on trees.

Without heavy armor, you gain +7.5% movement and 5% weapon speed. (requires light armor skill level 75)

Level 2:

Without heavy armor, you gain +15% movement and 10% weapon speed. (Requires Light Armor skill 100)

tank:

Level 1:

When wearing only heavy armor (boots, flute, breastplate, helmet), the damage of intruding physical attacks is reduced by 10%, and the damage of invading magical attacks is reduced by 5%. (Requires Heavy Armor skill 75)

Level 2:

When wearing only heavy armor (boots, flute, breastplate, helmet), the damage of offensive physical attacks is reduced by 20%, and the damage of offensive magic attacks is reduced by 10%. (Requires Heavy Armor skill 100)

The perk tree structure has not been touched.

The new perk is located to the right of the tree's first perk. (see picture)

Require:

Skyrim only

Install:

Place the .esp file into the Data-folder of the Skyrim folder. Before starting the game, please check the .esp in Mod Manager/Game Launcher.

Can be installed mid-game, no new game required.

uninstall:

Delete the .esp from the data folder.

It is generally not recommended to uninstall a mod and later load a save created when the mod was installed. I don't know what would happen if you did that. Since this mod doesn't run scripts or stuff, I guess there is no problem, but Bethesda has said that uninstalling mods midgame is not good. When you want to delete a mod mid game, it is best to edit the mod in TES5Edit and simply delete the changes it made to the game, which can be made by simply deleting each change by clicking the plus sign after loading the mod and deleting its contents (left click on the corresponding line and press delete on the keyboard).

I've read in a discussion on creationkit.com that games tend to remember Actor values, so maybe an actor value modified by a mod will remain modified after the mod is uninstalled. I haven't tried it myself yet. WeaponSpeedMult and SPeedMult (both used in Stinger perks) are actor values, and perks modify them.

mistake:

Please report it in the comments.

Bugs in the game engine remain unchanged. Weapon speed bonuses stack up significantly more than Dual Wielding. This is internal to the game and I only see 3 ways to handle this:

  • Create compatibility patches for every possible scenario (...are affected by this call, this and that perk,...and then you take this number...are affected by this perk but not that perk, but another call,...take another number....)

So 1. There will be a lot of work. Don't know if I could do that with my skills.

  • Use this as required
  • Let the carriage engine do its defective job and only make my new perk (Stinger) compatible with dual perks.

I chose option 3. Double Impact was unaffected, all I did was create the conditions for my Stinger perks to apply correctly. Everything works as expected.

Results of the in-game test numbers:

The WeaponSpeedMult for Stinger level 1 (5% bonus) is 1.05.

WeaponSpeedMult with Stinger level 1 (5% bonus) and Double Chaos level 1 (20% bonus) is 1.25 when two one-handed weapons are equipped, and 1.05 when only one weapon (Weapon+Shield, Weapon+Fist, Fist+Fist, Weapon+Torch, Staff, Two-Handed...) is equipped.

WeaponSpeedMult with Stinger level 1 (5% bonus) and Double Chaos level 2 (35% bonus) is 1.40 when two one-handed weapons are equipped, and 1.05 when only one weapon (Weapon+Shield, Weapon+Fist, Fist+Fist, Weapon+Torch, Staff, Two-Handed...) is equipped.

The WeaponSpeedMult for Stapon level 2 (10% bonus) is 1.10.

WeaponSpeedMult with Stinger level 2 (10% bonus) and Double Chaos level 1 (20% bonus) is 1.30 when two one-handed weapons are equipped, and 1.10 when only one weapon (Weapon+Shield, Weapon+Fist, Fist+Fist, Weapon+Torch, Staff, Two-Handed...) is equipped.

WeaponSpeedMult with Stinger level 2 ( …

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
