Evil Ax strengthened and fixed

Various fixes have been added for Rueful Axe, including audio replacement and stat buffs, as well as special scripted versions of Enchanted, Unenchanted and Unenchanted.

Evil Ax was a huge disappointment to all of us. Although it is easily one of the most attractive weapons in the game, its damage is too low and its attack speed is only 0.5, even lower than the Warhammer! This means its damage per second is rivaled only by a steel greatsword, and its charisma is unforgettable. Additionally, its sound files are turned off, using audio for one-handed operation.

This mod fixes all these issues. The audio has been adjusted and the weapon's sounds are now equal to those of other battle axes.

Damage increased from 22 to 24 (equivalent to Glass), and its speed appropriately set to 0.7

(I don't want it to be higher than 24 as this is a weapon available at level 10 and shouldn't be of overly high quality).

In addition to this, my mod comes with three different Esps (only one is used)

Rueful Ax polished and fixed

This set of audio fixes adjusts damage and speed.

Rueful Axen Uncharanted

This will apply the above fix and remove the base enchantments, allowing you to add your own.

Furious Ax Unenchanted Special Weapon

This set applies the above fixes and removes enchantments - but also adds a special script that makes axes do 20% more damage against animals and werewolves. Please note that since this script uses scripts like Silver Swords and Wuuthrad, the description of the ax will always say "Especially deadly to werewolves and beasts". -But you can still enchant! Even though the enchantment instructions won't be displayed, they are still valid!

Install/Uninstall

Simply drag and drop the esp file of your choice into the Skyrim\Data directory. Only use one of them!

To uninstall, just delete the esp again. My mod doesn't add any new scripts or anything like that, so it's safe to remove mid-game.

Not compatible

Any mod that messes with Rueful Ax's stats or makes changes to the Wuuthrad script.

Note that you can still download the Texture Mod for this axis without any issues.
