New epic main door model and textures for Whiterun, available in 4k-2k. Open City compatible.

Many people have requested it, so here it is - Whiterun's new door.

I created a new mesh from scratch in Blender while paying close attention to the vanilla style and adding more details.

I wanted to create something very rough and strong for Whiterun, so I chose large logs supported by metal.

For this door I had to use all the knowledge I gained over the past few months and even learn new techniques to bake crazy detailed dragon hinges.

I tried my best to make this the best gate so far, hope you like it :-)

Installation and compatibility

I highly recommend MO2 as a mod manager.

This mod is automatically compatible with Open Cities.

Open City's grid is always included because it is not affected if Open City is not used.

Of course, you have to allow it to cover open cities.

Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
