About this mod Machine translation
Solitude has undergone an overhaul to make the city feel like a grand and epic historic medieval city. It deserves to be called "Skyrim" and places great emphasis on epic fantasy style and sensibility. New statues, towers, flags, buildings, NPCs, music and more.
Brief overview:
A massive overhaul of the lonely city with an epic fantasy twist.
When I first entered loneliness, I couldn't express my disappointment in words. This is bullshit, plain and simple. There are no two ways about it. So few people, too many open spaces, and not enough history to illustrate the legends behind such an ancient city. It is smaller than a walled village. I found this old file on Google Drive and even though all my F:NV mods were corrupted by my laptop's HDD, this one was not. This mod has been on my mind since Skyrim first came out, so I took the file off the drive, organized it and freed it.
Loneliness is the imperial capital of Skyrim, and I wanted to bring a little Cyrodiil back to Skyrim as I always do. Vanilla Solitude is a bit medieval in the vanilla game, but not as great as it could be. This mod tries to go all out to bring epic content into the game.
There are many new statues, new buildings, npcs, notes, armor, music and more. This mod does a lot,
Features
New building
Among other fantasy creations, new large spiral towers surround the city ala classic medieval fantasy architecture. New minaret, round tower with spire and bastion. Shadiversity's videos helped me come up with much needed ideas for realistic castle designs. The classic castle-style red flag spire and the blue palace blue flag can also be seen from a distance. The tower also features working windows with lights that come on at night and go off during the day.
More buildings give the city greater scale
There is now a mini-city on the hill overlooking the city (although it is inaccessible and exists purely for decorative reasons). It's inspired by Minas Tirith from Peter Jackson's LOTR trilogy, whose large blade resembles the cliffs of a city. There's something similar here, but the mountain divider has a large wolf head carved into the top of the mountain, which fits nicely and looks epic too.
New and unique
Armor adds many new pieces of armor to break up the monotony and add more variety and uniqueness to certain characters.
Guards in the city will wear new unique medieval style guard armor, while guards outside the city aka Haafingar guards will still wear regular vanilla armor. This was done to make the city guards look more unique and make the city stand out more. Only city guards wear medieval-style guard armor.
The elite Blue Palace Guard will wear knightly robes to highlight their status and make the city more knightly compared to Windhelm and the rest of Skyrim.
Sir Bolgier Bearclaw was a great warrior and of the House of Lonesome Jarl. He now looks and feels the part, now wears unique Golden Knight armor, and will give "The Mountain" a run for its money. He also owns a unique medieval clay more appropriately called "Bear Claw".
Guard Captain Aldis wears a unique black and red knight's plate emblazoned with the words Solitude insigina to show his position as captain. he will no longer
Wear ordinary steel armor and armor. This is loneliness, damn the capital of the empire!
Knights from Chorral will wear a unique knight's breastplate with the Chorral emblem on the breastplate, a Chorral kite shield and a sword with the Chorral's mark on the hilt. I know the chorus is overdone.
New clothing,
They no longer look like civilians. They look like they got this…. Bard! Feathered hats and clothing suit these aspiring minds.
New unique armor and weapons for unique NPCs and players to purchase.
Players can purchase a variety of unique knight armor from new armor vendors. The refined Knightplate is statistically similar to the Nordplate, but looks more like the armor a classic knight would wear. You can also purchase a new set of relic armor, …
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
