A must-have artifact for using high-core ENB! Comes with an INI editor, a must-have tool for ENB authors! 2017.08

As we all know, when using high-core ENB, the relevant data in SkyrimPrefs.ini must be modified, otherwise it will cause abnormalities in the game screen, such as: water bodies disappear, eyeballs are lost, indoor materials are lost, the screen is half black and half white, depth of field cannot be started, and other bugs.

But every time after modifying SkyrimPrefs.ini, we only need to start SkyrimLauncher.exe once to modify the game screen settings. The previously modified data in the SkyrimPrefs.ini file has changed again, and we need to modify it again. This is a very painful thing!

So I asked aldaris from the Huahua MOD group to help write this small program. After running, it will modify the SkyrimPrefs.ini file:

[Launcher]

bEnableFileSelection=1 Open the game to use MOD

[Display] The following are the modifications that must be made to use ENB, but many ENB authors do not explain it.

iMaxAnisotropy=0

fGamma=1.0000

iWaterMultiSamples=0

iMultiSample=0

bTreesReceiveShadows=1

bDrawLandShadows=1

bFloatPointRenderTarget=1

bFXAAEnabled=0

bShadowsOnGrass=1

bTransparencyMultisampling=0

bDeferredShadows=1

bDrawShadows=1

And within the Skyrim.ini file:

[Actor]

fVisibleNavmeshMoveDist=12288.0000 Adjust the bow range to prevent the arrow from being shot lower than the crosshair position

[Combat]

f1PArrowTiltUpAngle=0.7 Fixed the first-person bow and arrow not deflecting the crosshair

f3PArrowTiltUpAngle=0.7 Fixed the issue that third-person bows and arrows do not deviate from the crosshairs

f1PBoltTiltUpAngle=0.7 Fixed the first-person crossbow arrow not deflecting the crosshair

f3PBoltTiltUpAngle=0.7 Fixed the issue that the third-person crossbow arrow does not shift the crosshair

How to use: Just run it and click import (MO users need to run this tool in MO). You need to run this tool every time you run SkyrimLauncher.exe. In addition, I have also set some INI contents that must be modified for grass materials. If you use these grass materials, you can select the corresponding items and import them. You can also open and edit config.json with text to customize the INI modifications you need.

PS: The runtime library NET4.0 is required. In addition, if the SkyrimPrefs.ini attribute is read-only, this tool will automatically remove the read-only attribute of SkyrimPrefs.ini and modify it. After modification, the read-only attribute will not be added back.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
