Enhanced Camera v1.1

Enhanced first-person camera v1.1

Directions:

What can this MOD do under the first-person lens?

  • You can see your own body and shadow.
  • You can ride horses, ride dragons, mine, cut trees, sit down, etc. in the first-person perspective without jumping back to the third-person perspective. (can be changed by settings)
  • The default combat mode is "first-person hands and third-person body", which can be modified to use third-person actions. The disadvantage is that you can't see the weapon you are holding.
  • When the player character is hit with a finishing move, the camera is still in the first person perspective. (Can be set and modified)
  • The wide-angle angle of the first-person lens can be adjusted.

There are many more mods that can be achieved, but I believe the above is sufficient explanation of this mod.

MOD compatibility

This MOD is a SKSE plug-in. The principle is to add the protagonist's body (below the neck) under the original first-person lens.

And according to the file settings in "SKSE\Plugins\SKSE_EnhancedCamera.ini", you can adjust the forced head turning in the plot, or the head following of the new patch actions (dancing, etc.).

(The camera height can also be set based on the character's height, which is convenient for RaceMenu and ECE users)

MOD requirements

SKSE 1.6.16 or above

XPMS is most compatible with skeleton or extended version XPMSE

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
