About this mod Machine translation
This simple mod changes two scripts PlayerWerewolfChangeScript.pex and dlc1playervampirechangescript.pex, which removes the forced third person camera and puts you into first person. Limited controls are better than none. Also removed fast travel lines and added first person models and extra bits.
So I thought "Why can't these two monsters play well in first person?" Then I tried to google some mods and all I found was "Enhanced Camera" but that didn't give me what I wanted so I made a mod myself...and here we are today.
This simple mod changes two scripts PlayerWerewolfChangeScript.pex and dlc1playervampirechangescript.pex, which removes the forced third person camera and puts you into first person.
Limited controls are better than none. Also removed fast travel lines and added first person models and extra bits. And removed the vampire lord activation blocker, but only for esp.
The main focus of this mod is mainly on the vampire lord, most of the magic animations in first person are pretty good, but of course it's very much since you're not going to be playing as either of these creatures in first person.
Werewolves can't use magic to begin with, so they're limited to dual power attacks with animations I made for another mod. But if you have a mod like tk combat or any mod that adds extra "human" animations by pressing a button, they will work on the first person even if you are a creature. Normal attacks and other things don't work.
The controls are really wonky when it starts working. You can pull your hands out, sometimes you can't put them down. Since there are no animations there, you can't really attack or do much. To get things working properly, start by placing your hand in your non-combat stance, then go into first, and it should pull out just fine.
Mods can also add 3 "skins". 2 Vampire Lord Skeletons and a Wear but you need to go into the menu to equip them as beasts. You can make them and all.
VL Anims.esp and WW Anims.esp are just another mockup I wanted to make, but I put it here instead for testing reasons. When you have these two it should allow some of the first animations to work.
Maybe it's the carriage, maybe it's not, I just copied the whole human animation setup to see if they would work with a creature on the first person. Some people do the most. These are purely options, you don't need them to use the mod.
Now, you can watch some long videos to see how it works.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
