This mod requires the latest version of Playable Monster Mod, which is the latest version of any playable creature mod.

In addition to enabling first-person animations, the mod also gives you a few extras, like a skeleton edit that lets you wear "human" armor on certain creatures. Apparently they weren't going to wear this, but it's optional and it looks cool. I guess. Add some stats to them..

You can attack first and third person normally, but there will be some lag when trying to enter and exit "Attack Posture" and "Idle Standing Posture".

You can jump instead of being stuck on the ground and sneak into the first person, which affects your attack power.

When testing this mod for a few months, some 4 legged creatures tended to crash and I didn't know if it was my mod or a PMM glitch.

There isn't really much else to say about the mod other than the fact that the animation is supposed to work on a creature using the same animation path but without any first-person weapons.

I recommend using creature retexture mods as the vanilla textures of creatures often look bad when you look at them really close.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
