About this mod Machine translation
New custom armor created by myself using Outfit Studio. Originally planned as a modders resource, but I thought I'd create it as an actual mod in case people wanted to use it in their games.
Description
This mod adds new custom light armor to the game, which can be crafted at any forge under the misc section as long as you have the "Advanced Armors" perk. As with the vanilla mage robe, there are three different variations.
This armor is designed as vanilla mage robes, but with Dawnguard armor underneath. This gives the appearance of armored robes (and is not obviously Dawnguard armor). The handguards and boots are the same model as the Dawnguard, and the hood is the vanilla hood model.
I'm uploading it as an armor model for those who want to use it in their games/have the ability to craft it, and also as a modders resource for people to use in their own mods.
Requires Dawnguard.
This can be used together with Midwood Island. They have different IDs, so technically two separate objects (but still using the same mesh).
There is CBBE bending conversion under the "optional" section of the file page. It should be used with the main mod as it simply transforms the mesh. Will also be working in Midwood Isle.
statistics and production
Armor can be crafted by obtaining the "Advanced Armor" perk under Miscellaneous. This perk also affects armor tempering. The collection has the following statistics:
Leather Hood - Weight 1, Armor 9
Plated Leather Robe - Weight 6, Armor 36
Leather Gloves - Weight 2, Armor 10
Leather Boots - Weight 2, Armor 10
This puts it somewhere between glass armor and scale armor. The hood is much less dense due to realism, but can be changed at will.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
