Egil's sword

Added new rapier based on Ricard's Rapier from Dark Souls.

Little is known about Egil, the mad prince of Ered Calendor.

Over time, the details of his early life in the kingdom faded, but his actions were never forgotten.

He betrayed his army by making allies with the dragons, a great war began, and after years of fighting that nearly destroyed the entire kingdom, Egil's forces were finally defeated.

Out of shame and desperation, he fled to Tamriel, where he found refuge with other Dragon Cultists.

After regaining his strength, Egil returned to Ereed Calendor, where he built a magnificent fortress hidden in the vast forests surrounding the mountains surrounding the kingdom.

Now, as in his early years, he had no idea what was going to happen next.

Rumors usually say that Egil once again failed to achieve his goal and then, never giving up on his purpose of living, threw his life away in a futile act of desperation, as the rumors also said that Egil stood up, but this time, undead.

No one knows what his motives were, but what is certain is that much of Egil's story is shrouded in mystery and controversy, ultimately only leading to his own demise.

Egil differed from his knights in the kingdom, he preferred the fighting style of Rapiers, wielding his might with great force, creating several moves while training in the courtyard of the castle, and in battle his enemies could not match his agility and extremely fast lunges.



This weapon has a "Dark Souls" upgrade style, see the material below.

NOTE: This weapon cannot be tempered, all upgrades are done on Anvils and Blacksmith Forges.

Upgrading to 1 costs: 1 Egil's Rapier, 3 Ingots and 1 Petit Soul Stone (full)

Upgrading to 2 costs: 1 Egil's Rapier 1, 5 Ingots and 1 Small Soul Stone (full)

Upgrading to +3 costs: 1 Egil's Sword +2, 3 Quicksilver Bars and 1 Universal Soul Stone (full)

Upgrading to +4 costs: 1 Aegir's Rapier +3, 5 Mercury Bars and 1 Large Soul Stone (full)

Upgrading to +5 costs: 1 Aegir's Rapier +4, 1 Centurion Core Dynamo and 1 Grand Soul Gem (filled), the blade's speed is slightly increased and the critical damage and chance are higher.



The rapier is located in Valkyrie, Lost in the Dungeon of the Labyrinth.

The weapon will be in a chest in the room in front of a large hole, where a Grim Reaper lurks.

Copy the archive contents to the Skyrim\Data folder. Overwrite files if required.

Then activate the .esp in Skyrim's launcher.
