About this mod Machine translation
Animation pack replaces all 1 hour and 2 hour attack animations. There are 15 new attack animations in total.
This is my package that replaces all attack animations for 1st and 2nd hand weapons. The main difference between this and all the other animation mods is that I use a different animation for each swing
You may or may not know it, but the way the meele attack works in Skyrim is basically that you have 2 swings used to construct it:
1/2hm_attackright.hkx - Swing when standing for the first time
1/2hm_attackleft.hkx - Second swing at rest
There are other variations depending on the direction you move.
For example:
2hm_runfwdattackright - (fwd = foward) first slash when running foward
In vanilla Skyrim there are only 2 swing animations for 1 handed weapons and 2 for 2 handed weapons. It's the same 2 boring animations every time I press attack (not couting power attack).
My pack changes these 2 to a total of 10 (15 if we count power attacks) to give as much variety as possible.
So basically you will get:
When standing with 2 different swings at the same time
2 different swings for running/walking at the same time
2 different swings for running/walking backwards at the same time
2 different swings for running/walking at the same time
2 different swings for running/walking at the same time
5 new power attacks are also based on direction.
A total of 15 new animations make combat more enjoyable.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
