Added the Sword from the Black Cauldron to Dimhollow Cavern
Dyrnwyn
Legendary Sword from the Black God Cauldron
by allseeingeye2
Description This mod adds the sword Dyrnwyn from Disney: Legend of the Black Cauldron, for just beyond that, you meet Serana to get the sword for the first time, you have to start the Dawnguard DLC and reach the Dimhollow Cave, where the sword will lie next to the tomb. This sword has a unique enchantment that causes 20 fire damage, 10 sun damage, and 10 sun damage to the dead. The sword can also be crafted at any forge, although it does not have a unique enchantment and is called a Dyrnwyn replica (this version can be enchanted with any enchantment you know of).
This is my first mod here and I'm really happy with how it turned out, the learning experience using unwrapped models and textures was very educational, and although it's not my first time creating a 3D model, it's the first time I put in a little more effort and learned some new techniques and skills. I hope you all enjoy using it as much as you enjoy it (even though the parts are annoying and I stayed up way too late and got sucked in too many times).
Install
Copy the archive contents to the Skyrim\Data folder, activate the .esp in the Skyrim launcher and play. Alternatively, install with the mod manager of your choice (recommended).
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
