About this mod Machine translation
Unlimited FO4 type positioners.
Introduction
While I know there are other targeting mods out there, none of them were exactly what I wanted, so I made this one, which is more like targeting in Fallout 4.
illustrate
This mod will let you position, copy or scale any object in the game. unlimited. Anything you can click using the console menu, can be targeted using this mod. Note that if you place or copy a landscape object, it will not be navigated. Therefore, you can walk on it, but other NPCs will not be able to run on it.
Like in FO4, objects will stay relative to your position. So when you move, the object moves too. You can move it back and forth relative to your position. You can scale it proportionally, or rotate it at any angle. You can also choose to make the object static or dynamic when placing it. Static objects cannot move or collide.
When positioning objects, most controls are disabled except for moving and looking around, so you can use the hotkeys used by the vanilla game for positioning without conflict. Additionally, actor AI handling is switched by default when positioning.
I also added a feature that allows you to change the motion type of all objects in the current cell to static or dynamic. I recommend making all objects static before placing large projects. This is because when you place items, it still affects dynamic items, making them fly around. If they are static, positioned objects will pass through them.
Note that when the position key is pressed, the mod checks the crosshair reference first, then the console reference. So to use console reference, make sure your crosshair isn't hovering over anything.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
