My skyrim build is a bit of a cosplay. There were four people in the group, each in their own class. While three of them (including me) had their own ranged weapon types, I couldn't find a heavy gun suitable for the heavy tank role. Well, it turns out I found one: "siege cross set", but some of the additional meshes didn't appear when wielded by any NPC/Follower (although they looked fine on the player character), and I also thought they looked overkill, filled with too many cosmetic parts.
I decided to make my own, using those parts from the Dwarven trap in the ruins of Dwemer and some struts - attaching them to the Dwarven cross...here it is: the Dwarven Boltcaster.
It comes in 2 sizes: one is a large regular type and the other is a compact (small).
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
