About this mod Machine translation

This mod adds new original music to the world of Skyrim. It includes euphoric, but also dark and melancholic exploration tracks, Skyrim and Witcher inspired battle tracks, as well as futuristic Castle-, Dungeon-, Tavern tracks and more. (Does not replace tracks from the original soundtrack).

describe

Music plays a huge role in the Skyrim and Elder Scrolls series. Without Jeremy Soule's beautifully crafted Soundtrack, the game might not be the same as we know it now (in my opinion). For me, music always creates a sense of wonder and mystery when exploring the world of Skyrim.

Now the purpose of this mod is to create more variety to the TES V Skyrim soundtrack. But not just by adding random tracks, but by adding tracks for a variety of moods. For example, an exploration track that has a dark/melancholy mood, or a combat track that's less dramatic but makes you feel more like a badass (especially at high levels).

Every track in this mod is written for Skyrim. It currently adds over 1 hour of new tracks (currently 20 tracks) including:

7 combat tracks (4 for normal encounters, 2 for dragon encounters, 1 for both + civil war)

8 exploration tracks (for general exploration Day & at Night)

3 Dungeon track

1 Tavern track

1 Castle track

Install

Simply download and install,

or

Copy and paste the data folder into the Skyrim folder (after unzipping using 7zip, Winrar, ...)! Make sure the plugin is activated! Already included by "No_Aardvarks_Allowed" (the 'script' I use for this mod)

Requested mod "Personalized Music". Compatibility This mod is compatible with mods that only replace the original audio track. This mod is not compatible with other non-replacement mods that use personalized music (e.g. immersive music), but you can make it compatible if you want, here"

  • Manually downloaded my mod and unzipped the .zip file
  • Go to...\Skyrim\data\music, you will see multiple folders with names such as "Castle", "Combat", "Combat - All". .

[My mod has the same folder (there may be folders that only appear in my mod folder/your skyrim folder, but that doesn't matter)]

  • Find file conflicts and fix them:
  • Open one of the folders and look for the highest number (e.g. "MMCastle 19" in a folder called "Castle") - Open my mods folder

Then a folder with the exact same name, in my case: "Castle" (if it exists, if not continue to the next folder)

  • Rename my mod's files so they don't replace yours, in my case: "MMCastle 01" -> "MMCastle 20" if there are more files rename

for:

“ MMCastle 02 ” - >“ MMCastle 21 ”

“ MMCastle 03 ” - >“ MMCastle 22 ”

“MMCastle 04 “ - >” MMCastle 23 “

Wait... (you basically changed the numbers)

  • do this for every other folder

Another example of a "Combat" folder:

  • Find the highest number: "MMCombat15" (in...\Skyrim\data\music\Combat)
  • Rename my file:

” MMCombat 01 “ - >” MMCombat 16 “

“ MMCombat02 “ - >” MMCombat 17 “

” MM Combat03 “ - >” MMCombat 18 “

etc...

  • You can now create a new archive (zip, rar, etc.), which is recommended for easier installation and uninstallation,

Or you can copy and paste my mod's data folder into your skyrim folder

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
