Double-sided vertex population fix v1.0

By Artsick and Ruhadre

Description:

Added double-sided shaders for male and female human mouth meshes. Also used the vertex alpha trick provided by Artsick to prevent sticking out. This is purely a cosmetic fix to prevent the teeth from disappearing at an angle while talking. The grid provided is for the player only. In the second screenshot, I illustrate that you have to abuse the Racemenu slider to make the grid stand out. If you're experiencing protrusion in Racemenu, you're using the wrong slider.

How does the vertex alpha trick work?

It's not just a matter of clicking on a few shader properties. All vertices in the mesh were given a vertex color, and 9 specific vertices were selected to "alpha'd" out. Those vertices are the ones connecting the front of the port mesh and the head mesh, which are part of the mesh and usually can't be seen anyway. No vertices are removed, moved or "scaled", allowing compatibility with three files designed for vanilla meshes.

Install:

It's just a grid. Only tooth models that clash just like real teeth.

If using Fair Skin Complexion's optional teeth, you can allow this mod to override its mesh.

(Female mesh in FSC is reversible like the one here.)

100% compatible with any vanilla tooth texture substitute.

BVFE mouth three for generating player and fanged female facial animation by nao4288

If you are using *Performance Female Animation by Niroku, just install the optional file here and place the mesh in it. The MAIN file from here is not required. Do not use these optional grids without installing EFA! Should still be BVFE compliant, needs to be tested...

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
