Light Destruction Overhaul Mod - Changed the perk tree and added new abilities to some vanilla spells
The main purpose of this mod is to make some vanilla spells more useful, especially at high levels. And make a difference among fire, frost and storm mages. I added new abilities to runes, cloaks, walls, area spells, and master spells (to unlock abilities, perks need to be learned), adding two perks to spells. And I also unlocked dual casting for the master skill (the casting animation is the same).
allowance:
Novice Destruction (0) - Casts a wizard's destruction spell at half the novice level
Destruction (25) - Casts the destruction spell of a wizard with half the apprentice level. Casting the destruction spell twice overkills the effect and becomes a more powerful version.
Skilled Destruction (50) - Skilled at casting half-magician level destruction spells, most skills are dual cast
35% chance of dislocating the opponent when Expert Destruction (75) - Casting an Expert half-Magician Destruction spell, all Destruction spells have 20% reduced spell damage Magician
Master Destruction (100) - Casts a master level destruction spell that costs half mana and all destruction spells deal 20% increased damage
Enhanced Fire (30) - If low health, fire spells deal 20% more damage and cause them to flee, fire runes deal 25% additional damage
Burn (50) - Cloak of Fire reduces melee damage by 25%
Explosive Power (60) - The fireball has a 25% chance of hurling the target to the ground.
Enhanced Frost (30) - When a Frost spell is at low health, it deals 20% damage and paralyzes it, causing Frost runes to damage it for 200 health
Resistance Aura (50) - Frost Cloak slows enemies and makes them resistant to frost by 50%
Deep Freeze (60) - Ice Storm spell reduces the target's resistance to physical damage by 25% for 10 seconds (stackable, and works even if the target is unarmored)
Enhanced Shock (30) - The Shock spell deals an additional 20% damage and disintegrates if the target is low on health, and the Shock Rune deals 200 Magic Card Damage
Mana Thief (50) - Enemy Shock Cloak consumption spell
Chain Reaction (60) - Chain Lightning spell deals 5% extra damage to each target (up to 25% (6 enemies))
At "70 Destruction" level, you need to choose four ways (you can only choose one)
Agni: Agni
Lord (70) - Fire spells deal 30% more damage, cost 30% less mana, you gain 30% resistance to fire, but no frost
Damage taken increased by 30%. Charge (100) - Each cast of Storm increases elemental damage by 10% for 15 seconds (stackable, and on two casts - increases by approximately 20-25% per cast)
Frost
Holy Spirit (70) - Frost spells deal 30% increased damage, spell costs are reduced by 30%, you gain 30% frost resistance, but take 30% increased damage from fire
Frost Charge (100) - After casting the Blizzard spell - all spells cost 0 mana for 15 seconds
Shocking
Thunder Lord (70) - Shock spells deal 30% more damage, reduce mana cost by 30%, gain 30% shock resistance, but are protected from fire and ice
Energy Damage deals 15% more damage (100) - You cannot stagger while casting Thunderstorm, which also costs 20 Mana Storm per second.
All transactions:
Master of the Elements (70) - Icy Spear and Incinerate spells reduce the target's resistance to electricity by 5% for 20 seconds, Thunder reduces the target's resistance to fire and ice by 5% for 20 seconds (stackable, 20 hits = -100% resistance)
Experementalist (100) - Master of Destruction spells take extra damage from other elements. Storm Explosion makes Blizzard, Lightning Storm makes Blizzard hit enemies, Blizzard has no other effect (I tried making it, but all the active magic effects I tried adding - worked poorly with Blizzard, so I gave up, maybe will make it later)
Other privileges:
Rune Master (35) - Can place three runes at once and five times the distance.
Deadly Trap (65/90) - If the target doesn't see you, the rune deals double/triple damage.
Barrier Master (80) - Firew …
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
