About this mod Machine translation

Mesh and textured patches can fix silly glow effects in all kinds of enhanced jewelry. I'll be adding more content over time, so use the Track feature to get notifications of added files.

This is (or will be) a collection of patches of sorts to fix the very silly "my jewelry is radioactive and glows in the dark" incorrect specularity, radioactivity, environment mapping and other settings molds that plague various items with added jewelry (usually also eyes and weapons, though those are other fixes for another time).

I've made a lot of these fixes, but in my own merged gear mod game. It takes me a while to figure out what I did for which mod and repackage them as patches for other people to install, so use the Track button above to track this page and notify (sorta) the added files later. (I don't think you received the actual notification, but you will see an "Updated" label when you see this mod's page in the mods list).

Patches are usually just a set of replacement mesh files (either directly for the game's "Data\Meshes\" folder, for "Data\CalienteTools\BodySlide\ShapeData\", or both), although occasionally some tweaked texture files are included.

Patches so far

Graviczapa desert dancer. Fixed excessive glow on various jewelry items and turbans (gem fragments on other pieces of clothing are fine). The original mod and its UUNP BodySlides are here. Original mod requires: SKSE, HDT Physics Extension, Realistic Ragdolls and Force, XPMSE Skeleton.

DEM Burlesque. Fixed garters in darkness. You need the original mod (for the special Lilith/Demonica body), or the UUNP or CBBE BodySlide set (which includes all necessary resources); there is no hosting, but they can be easily found via Google etc. Use Google Translate as needed (the original mod and its release page are in Russian). Original mod requires: SKSE, HDT Physics Extensions, and possibly XPMSE Skeleton.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
