CVR Voice Pack for PC Head Tracking and Voice Type

The voice settings in the custom voice resource pack work with HHaleyy's PC head tracking and voice types, giving your Dragonborn plenty to say on the go!

This mod adds nine voice sets for your player character, allowing them to comment on things like finding new locations, encountering enemies, gaining skills, and more. There are six female voices, one male, one female goblin, and one female. Kikiapplus and Christian Gaughf provide voice settings under the excellent Custom Voice Resource - CVR mod. Although the CVR model was originally designed for followers and NPCs, I have converted it for player use with Kikiapplus' permission. This mod is designed to work with HHaleyy's PC head tracking and voice typing framework. PC Head Tracking and Voice Type must be installed before installing this mod.

If you use nanahane's add-on player sounds for the Skyrim framework, I made a version for that framework as well. Click here to get it.

For Skyrim SE, install the SE version of PC Head Tracking and Voice Type, then install my mod.

Install

For classic Skyrim, install PC Head Tracking and Voice Type. For Skyrim SE, please install PC Head Tracking and Voice Type SE.

Install this mod using the mod manager. Alternatively, download and extract to your Skyrim directory. The files are in 7z format, so if you want to unzip them manually, use an unzip tool that can open this format, such as 7-zip or WinZip.

Note: Only one voice set can be installed at a time. For more information, see the compatibility notes below.

Select the game

Voice Type PC head tracking and voice types have an MCM that allows you to activate custom (bring your own) voice types. To enable speech type:

Open MCM for PC head tracking and voice type.

Set BYO Voice Type to ON.

For details on enabling and disabling BYO voice types, see PC Header Tracking and Voice Types.

uninstall

In MCM for PC head tracking and voice type, set BYO voice type to OFF.

Uninstall using mod manager. Alternatively, delete all files and folders included with this mod.

Note: Uninstalling this mod will not uninstall PC head tracking and voice types. If you want to uninstall PC head tracking and voice types, see the mod's description for instructions.

Compatibility Notes

PC Head Tracking and Voice Types There is a source folder for custom voice types: [Skyrim installation directory]\Data\Sound\FX\PC Head Tracking. This means you can only install one custom voice at a time. If you have multiple voices installed, the new voice set will overwrite the previous one.
