Purchase Soul Gem fragments from all spell traders in Skyrim and use them to create empty Soul Gem. You can also break any empty Soul Gem into Soul Gem Fragments. Break down the ones that don't need/want to contribute to better soul gems!
Update: Now available on Bethesda.net / Ported @
Purchase [CSG] Soul Gem Fragments from all spell merchants in Skyrim and use them to create Empty Soul Gem. You can also break any empty Soul Gem into Soul Gem Fragments. Break down the ones that don't need/want to contribute to better soul gems!
Being able to make your own soul gems is very useful. Now, you have another way to get Soul Gems than just finding them in random places. Breaking down soul gems is also useful. You can disenchant low-capacity soul gems, stockpile [CSG] soul gem fragments, and create high-capacity soul gems (i.e., disintegrate small soul gems to create regular or larger soul gems).
I've added my own custom Soul Gem Fragments ([CSG] Soul Gem Fragments) that will be sold by Skyrim's most famous spell merchant.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
