Cobb Bug fix
This SKSE DLL fixes bugs in the Skyrim core game engine.
bed bugs
Aim down and shoot an arrow
If you are crouched on a ridge and try to shoot an arrow down from the ridge, your arrow may travel backwards and hit the ground beneath you. (more information)
Merchant replenishment exploit repair
If you want to force merchants to replenish their wares and gold, you can do so by bartering with them, saving the game, stamping them, and reloading the game. This happens because the game either didn't save or the data indicating the merchant's last restock wasn't properly loaded.
This fix can be disabled using the INI file included with Cobb Bug Fixes.
Underwater environment/cell boundaries
Sometimes, when swimming underwater, you will hear the sound the camera makes as it exits and enters the water, even though the camera never leaves the water. This happens every time the camera crosses a cell boundary underwater. (more information)
If you encounter problems with this fix, you can disable it using the INI file included with Cobb Bug Fixes.
Vampire Feeding Soft Lock
When playing as a vampire, you may become unable to move after feeding an NPC. Without the correct console command, it is permanent.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
