About this mod Machine translation
Vivid Weathers ENB for low-end PCs. Only the most important effects from the v262 binary are used, but the visuals are greatly enhanced.
Who is it?
ENB is built on low-end PCs for low-end PCs. If you want better visual results without considering performance, choose another ENB. Again, this is all about performance, you won't get additional benefits such as sophisticated particle lighting, SSAO or subsurface scattering.
performance monitor
The Stacadone Cinemascope is the highest-performing and best-performing ENB to date. This is possible because Stakado uses very old binaries. Anyway, this
Still makes Stakado's ENB a good parameter to measure performance. By default, you will get 90% of the performance of Stakado Cinemascope using the Gritty Chimera preset.
In other words, if you can get 60+ fps everywhere with Stakado out there, you can definitely get at least 50 fps on average with Chimera. The Cinematic Chimera preset is less performance friendly as it enables more enb effects. For better performance overall, see the last section of this page. Aesthetics Gritty sticks to the vanilla vivid aesthetic during the day, making some adjustments to the ambient lighting and incorporating darker shadows. Dusk and dawn are more depressing in comparison, while night is a balance between realism and fantasy. cinematic
Using enhanced ENB Nighteye, the original vanilla image space is not supported. It mimics the look of a less saturated but sharper film with more cinematic effects (DoF, Bloom). Tl;dr: different look, better visuals, lower performance.
Fantasy has found its own original color palette and is the biggest departure from Vivid Weather's vanilla look. Colorful skies, rolling greens, bright and vibrant nights.
night vision
By default, the Gritness preset uses the original image space. This gives it built-in compatibility with all image space modifiers. In short, the khaki night vision effects, time-bending shouts, and other effects can remain intact.
The movie preset uses enhanced night vision instead. Overrides the vanilla image space modifier.
Install
- Download the ENB V262 binaries here.
- Remove d3d9.dll and enbhost.exe from
Copy the "wrapper version" from the downloaded archive into the main Skyrim directory (the directory where TESV.exe is located).
- Copy my ENB file to the same folder.
- Install Vivid Weathers using any Mod Manager and choose to disable ground fog (important).
- Enable customization in the "Vivid Weather MCM" menu and set "Bloom" to low (not required, but recommended).
Performance indicators
If you're struggling with performance, you can do the following:
I recommend you use BethINI, it will make tuning the ini much easier.
-The main usual suspect in tank FPS is the shadow. Set BethINI's shading to 512 as ENB shading will mask low quality.
-Grass Mods also significantly reduce performance regardless of using ENB. Consider ditching Grass mods altogether. If vanilla grass is still giving you trouble, use my other grass braid from the optional download (dramatically reduces grass density, but increases performance). Alternatively, you can use grass on steroids to get both performance and thicker turf.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
