About this mod Machine translation
This mod makes it so that when you eat cheese and harvest mammoth cheese, you'll hear Sheogorath's signature line from TES IV: Oblivion: "Cheers for everyone!"
This mod makes it so that when you eat cheese and harvest mammoth cheese, you'll hear Sheogorath's signature line from TES IV: Oblivion: "Cheers for everyone!"
How the mod works: The original purpose of making this mod was to make it so that Sheo would yell CHEESE when picking up, eating, and eating cheese. I couldn't figure out how to use the pickup, on and off sound options in Creation Kit... I was about to give up, and then my brain formed a brilliant idea! I made a magic effect that does absolutely nothing, but when applied to the player it makes a "CHEESE FOR EVERYONE" sound. I applied this effect to Skyrim's cheese. Now, when you eat this juicy cheese, you will get the magical effect of restoring health and the effect of "empty" cheese, and when you apply the cheese, you will hear the majestic sound of Sheo!
Please note that this mod is not compatible with my Better Food mod... However, I made a "patch". By "patched" I mean the mod has been remade in a way that is compatible with CHEESE. If you download the Better Food with CHEESE file, please make sure Better Food is not installed. Additionally, you don't need to download the main CHEESE file. Better Food with CHEESE is its own mod with the full functionality of both. You can read more about Better Food by clicking on the mod name earlier in this paragraph.
(Better Food with Cheese requires all official DLC! The reason the requirements are not listed is because the main CHEESE file does not require DLC)
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
