Scatter 6 types of trees and some shrubs across the skyline.

feature:

Placed manually for optimal visual aesthetics.

There is no collision between bushes and tree roots (gameplay friendly).

Mushrooms can be found on some of the largest trees.

The butterfly/torch and 2 deer are placed in the woodland version.

Do I need two master files?

No, there is only one. Construction or woodland (see below).

What is Lite?v2.3

This simplified version is recommended if you do not use DynDOLOD, this version does not

Has Woodland adding external white diffuse but having full LOD applied to some exposed trees.

Trees are spread out more dispersedly, thus minimizing the pop/pop effect.

WHAT IS WOODLAND VERSION?v2.3

This woodland version adds the woodland area outside Whiterun Gang.

In this release, trees do not have LODs (see below for more information on LODs).

Due to the larger area of the exposed tree, this version has noticeable tree pop/pop.

This version is for DynDOLOD users who want to make Billboard LODs.

If you are downloading a non-DynDOLOD version, this is a matter of personal preference.

Level of Detail (LOD) -

Level of detail refers to exchanging high-quality objects for lower-quality objects within a certain distance to maintain high performance.

Trees pop (or pop) out of view in the distance. This is not a bug but a feature to maintain fps and performance.

Pop-ups/pop-ups will be reduced if you run the game at 7 ugrids (recommended) or higher.

Texture assets are available to DynDOLOD users interested in making a Billboard LOD for the woodland version.

Optional files:

Performance tree texture, half the resolution of the main file. Up to 1k resolution.

No bushes, don’t want bushes? Load this file after your main file and it will remove the bushes.

Bush with flowers, simple bush texture alternative. Paint white flowers on the bushes.

What is the resolution of the main file?

Up to 2k resolution.

My leaves only move sometimes, why? -

Skyrim will stop foliage movement if the game framerate drops below a certain level (usually 30fps).

This is a way to ensure your framerate is still playable. This is not a bug, but a feature.

Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
