About this mod Machine translation
Give all fixed capital carriage drivers some armor to make them look less defensive. It also gives them new weapons (except those in Windhelm) that are now essential so they can no longer be destroyed by dragons.
This is my first attempt at making a mod. All it does is change the armor of the carriage drivers in every capital and give them better weapons, except in Windhelm. I'm really just trying it all out, I plan to keep modding and maybe one day I'll give them better armor, who knows. They are also marked as essential now and I'm tired of having them killed by dragons and then waiting for them to respawn so I can use them (if you're surviving or something).
Compatibility: It should be compatible with anything that doesn't change the bay driver. I haven't tested it yet, but it should also be compatible with armor mods since all I did was set them up to have new outfits. For example, if you have a mod that modifies leather armor, then Solitude's Wagon Driver's leather armor should match your changes.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
