About this mod Machine translation

Vampire teeth and eyes.

Original address:

This mod changes the vampire's fangs and eyes. The teeth are shorter, now for women. Eyes include new textures as well as emissive and non-emitting meshes.

Version:

1.0 - Initial version

1.1 - Added a new master file containing fangs and new glowing eyes (see image). Includes an updated eye mesh that keeps the glow on, but also includes double-sided lashes and invisible fixes. If you previously installed one of the other two packages, you can install it on top and just replace all the files.

Update: Two additional files added:

No bloodshot eyes. Replace the second bloodshot texture with a non-bloodshot version.

Serana, Valerica and Harkon have replaced their turbans with new ones without glowing eyes (everything else is original). This isn't a standalone replacement for me, but for those who don't want to wait for it or want the characters to look close to vanilla.

Update 2:

ECE patch has been added. If you are using ECE, first install the required main package, then install the ECE patch and overwrite when prompted.

Overview:

This mod alters the vampire's fangs and eyes to make them more believable and they can interact with humans. Men had shorter teeth and now women have shorter teeth. Eyes not glowing, red, but more subtle. This mod does not affect Khajiit or Argonians. Orc vampires will get this model's eyes, but not the fangs.

Fangs:

In males, the lower canines have been removed and the canines shortened. The female fangs were created from scratch, rather than reusing the male's mouth, to look like male fangs. Vampires should now look like they can bite something without releasing their jaws. You should also be able to see hints of their fangs while talking.

Eye:

The male and female eye meshes have been replaced with non-luminous meshes. Some other small changes to the mesh include double-sided eyelashes and a fix for the glitches that occur when you use any type of concealment and the eye texture is disrupted. Also included are new vampire eye textures (for player vampire eyes and other vampire eyes owned by some NPCs). Eye texture based off of MrLenski's dremora eye texture Covereyes

Facegendata:

By default, the above net alternatives will only be visible to players. I also added facegendata to most of the vampire NPCs in the game, so they will have the same eyes and fangs.

WARNING: If you are using another mod that changes any vampire NPCs, including but not limited to EEO, overlaying the head mesh with the ones I provided may cause the head to become discolored.

FYI: Serana, Harkon, Valerica and Alva are not "real" vampires of the race and therefore will not get fangs or eyes from this model (they will get new eye textures, but the mesh will still glow). I've released a companion mod with the changes which can be found here: BVFE - Serana and Family

Options:

Fangs and Eyes - This includes everything listed above.

Teeth and Glowing Eyes - Includes fangs and updated eyeballs to keep them glowing, but also includes double-sided eyelashes and invisible restorations. New glow compatible textures also.

Fangs Only - For those who prefer glowing eyes, this option is just a new fang for players and NPCs.

Fangs Player Only / Eyes Player Only (you can choose one or both) - A la carte options for those who have modded NPC vampires or those who prefer to generate their own facegendata. These options only affect the player.

No bloodshot eyes - This replaces the second bloodshot texture with a non-bloodshot version

Serana, Valerica and Harkon - I'm moving this file to the old files section because Madcat221 released a new mod that does the same thing except for the fangs! Big thanks to him for posting it. He released a version with glowing and non-glowing eyes.

And of course my re-imagined Serana and Valerica, now wrapped in madcat221’s scalloped Har …

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
