About this mod Machine translation

This mod converts the cartoon character's vanilla cow proportions to more closely resemble the ancestral buffalo by replacing it with a custom vanilla cow skeleton! This is subtle for any aspiring farmer, but it needs to change! Guaranteed to increase steak cravings and marinade 101%

[[[MOD Description]]

If you're like me and have been disappointed with vanilla cows, this mod is for you. Skyrim's cattle are awkwardly proportioned compared to wild, crossbred or domesticated Highland cattle. This mod replaces the vanilla cow skeleton with a new custom skeleton designed to give Skyrim's cows a more realistic and immersive appearance, more similar to an actual cow or hybrid buffalo. Working within the vanilla mesh, I adjusted the head, neck and limbs of Skyrim's cow to give them a more powerful look! These new subtle changes to Skyrim cows transform them into very similar to typical cows from Northern Europe and other parts of the world. Now you can enjoy realistic and strong cows on your Skyrim farm. With each encounter, you'll become more involved in Skyrim's mantra!

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
