About this mod Machine translation

A patch to integrate Beyond Skyrim Bruma with Complete Alchemy and Cooking Overhaul v1.2 or v2.0 for Skyrim Legendary Edition.

Require

Skyrim Legendary Edition - All three DLCs except Skyrim

-

Bruma outside of Skyrim DLC integration patch

CACO v1.2 or v2.0

Wiseman303’s flora restoration program (required for CACO anyway).

The role of mod

All farmable plants and DLC patches from Bruma now work with farmable plants added in CACO v1.2 or v2.0.

I also changed the recipe for the Bruma oven so that the salt pile and flour bag were replaced with CACO's salt and flour. This means all oven recipes can now be made. See the first note in the Post for information on making recipes on the cooking pot.

Some multiplying plants have been renamed, such as "Clouded Funnel" being renamed to "Cyrodilic Clouded Funnel". My personal preference would be to force Brummians to produce regular CACO stock, but I'm not sure how Brummians feel about that, so I gave them the Cyrodilic prefix to emphasize the difference from existing CACO plants. The others I left already had subtle differences, like "leaf" instead of "leaf" - I didn't want to keep making ridiculous "Cyrodilic" stuff for aesthetic reasons.

I went through all the Bruma flora fixes from here. Additionally, I applied the flora regeneration script to the new plantable plants added in the "mandatory" Beyond Skyrim DLC integration patch.

no

I haven't touched on the ideas you get from foods or recipes that align with their lovers, so they'll remain the same as the Vanilla Bruma expansion.

Install

I personally play with CACO 1.2 without any issues. I have done very little testing of the CACO v2.0 patch. No problem, but if you do, be sure to let me know in the comments.

Therefore, you need Bruma and its DLC patches as well as CACO 1.2 or CACO 2.0. There are two file options in the download, be sure to select only one for your version of CACO.

Place the Bruma/CACO patch after all your Bruma products, CACO and Wiseman303 fixes in the load order.

uninstall

It won't cause any problems. Just get rid of the patch. The oven recipes will go back to requiring salt stacks etc. and you'll lose a bunch of CACO growing options because without the patch, Bruma-added growing plants will overwrite CACO-added growing plants.

compatibility

If you have a mod that adds more plantable plants than CACO has already added, some or all of the plantable plants in that mod or the Bruma DLC integrated mod (depending on your load order) will not be growable. It won't break your games, it just won't be able to implant them. The salt/flour substitutions in the recipes in my patch still work, and duplicate plants are renamed.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
