Warning I'm not the original creator: this mod makes the corpse decay over time, first some particles overtake the human body, then the human body adopts the draugr model, then the skeleton. Animals also pass through this process but skip the draugr and skeletal stages. Rats also surround the body.
I can't remember the individual original author it was and when I figured it out I'll give him\her credit in the meantime. I want to continue the project they did and make it into something fantastic. Decomposition does take time, so you may find that the body you just left is just bones, feel free to send a screenshot of the image as well. My life is a bit busy so I'll do my best I can :P.
This mod targets 0.2:
- New model replacing draugr.
-New mouse model.
- The sound of flies when close to the body.
-MCM menu. (Main concern at the moment) -
and the effect of eating it while the cannibal rots.
-Causes body weight to decrease over time.
(It is recommended to add it after Helgen.)
Known errors:
- Frame dropped bits
Points - the body disappears during decomposition
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
