Bounty system reworked
Bounties extend to bandits, Forsaken, giants and dragons. Just like in The Witcher 3, bring enemy "loot" to jars as evidence of your bounty, or deliver captured bandits to guards for justice to be served. This mod is an LE backpack from JaySerpa's original mod.

Original post address:
- Bounty tasks are extended to bandits, forgotten people, giants and dragons. Just like in The Witcher 3, bring enemy "loot" to jars as evidence of your bounty, or deliver captured bandits to guards for justice to be served.
illustrate:
- Bounty requires proof: "I killed the bandit, Mr. Jarl, give me the reward" is no longer enough. You need proof that you completed the bounty. when
- If you kill the bounty target, the bandit/giant/dragon will get an item in their inventory. Obtaining this item will disappear from the screen for a second and the bounty target will lose their mind when you loot them. . . literally
- Capture Prisoners: For those playing a more legal/forgiving role, bandit leaders with bounties on them can be captured and brought to justice. To capture the bandit leader, they must kneel down (with low health), and then you can talk to them and order them to give up. They can then be looted through dialogue. The next step is to talk to a guard (any guard will do) and hand them over to the prisoner.
- Population Prison: The bandits will be taken by the guards to the nearest prison where the prisoners will live permanently. The guard will return to him or her
- Prisoners can be visited, but they won't be happy to see you. The maximum number of prisoners is 7 or 8. Once the cap is reached, the oldest prisoners are executed to make room for new inmates.
- Giants have feelings too: You can save bounty giants from death (or not). Once they're on their knees, you can talk to them (quick save and load if the option doesn't appear). If forgiven, they will slowly walk away in shame until they disappear forever. This completes the bounty.
- Fully integrated into the mission goal: When you kill the bandit leader, you will get a new goal: "Obtain bounty certificate", and the target arrow will point to the corpse. The same goes for other new stages of bounties.
- Visible representation: Bandits/dragons/giants will lose their minds when you get proof of the bounty, and this is reflected in their modeling.
- I've also added some extra options to the mod, like the ability to capture fugitives via voice options, or to intimidate/convince thieves into giving you what they stole so no one gets hurt
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
