About this mod Machine translation
Basically - I'm tired of always having to use the console to create "Bloodcursed Arrows" for use with Auriel's Bow.
So I created a "mid-air friendly" mod that will allow my character to create "bloody arrows" in an immersive way - without having to hear Serana complain about having to bleed.
Pretend you are Lord Harco
Once the mod is loaded into the game world - you will be able to find a spell book with a similar title to the book "Destruction" - it will be placed in a bookshelf where you will find Valerica's Journal.
This teaches you a smaller power: Blood - Creates Blood Cursed Arrows.
You can use it as many times as you want - it will have the following effects.
- Your character will be animated to kneel, open his hands and then bleed on the ground
(Thanks to Brehanin2- his vampire showed better how to make that specific animation)
- Your character will lose 10, 5 or 1 Elf Arrow - depending on which denomination is present.
Then, you will get Bloodcursed Arrows of equal value.
For example: If you have 0 Elven Arrows in your inventory, nothing will happen.
If you have >= 10 Elf Arrows in your inventory - you will lose 10 and gain 10.
= 5您的库存中-精灵箭头-您将损失5并获得5。
= 1-您将损失1并获得1
The animation effect takes about 10 seconds to complete - so doing it 10 steps at a time makes sense.
I purposely capped it at 10 per use to maintain the immersive feel - I don't think a single dose of a pinch of water would be equivalent to 60-100 arrows. I mean - blood is effective, but not that effective.
Mod's list:
1 ESP file (contains the spells and spell effects used to trigger the animation, also contains the spell tome and places it in Valerica's laboratory)
1 script file (with source code) - performs conversion from elves to bloodspells.
The source code of the script is available for anyone to view and copy, etc.
Most of the animations/hand-slicing etc. come from Brehanin2 - who also released the source code via his Better Vampires mod etc.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
