Better lighting (Whiterun)

About this mod Machine translation
This mod simply makes all interior lighting in Whiterun more natural. Lighting now only comes from actual light sources, such as candles and fires, large windows or openings outside. All light sources have been carefully redone in every indoor unit within Whiterun, as well as Honningbrew meadery, Battleborn Farm, Palagia Farm and Chillfurrow Farm.
IMPORTANT NOTE:
It's hard to notice the improvements and changes unless you go with the dark interior mods. I would recommend my own mod “Simply Darker Interiors” which is what is used in all screenshots + my other mod “Saturation Increase by Simuration123”
This mod may not be compatible with these mods (I haven't tested it yet, but I'm pretty sure they do the same thing, meaning one will conflict with the other)
Realistic Lighting Overhaul
Enhance lights and FX
Improved furnace lighting SE
Dynamic shadows for Skyrim
However im guessing most other mods would be fine as it only moves/removes/edits lights, it doesn't edit cell data.
future:
I may do other towns, caves, and dungeons, but I'll see what people think of this city first. I would love any ideas and feedback!
It's a simple ESP file, make sure you put it in the load order to ensure it works properly.
You can follow me on Facebook or Twitter to stay up to date on the mods I make.
I also have a YouTube channel where I post videos related to my mods. I also have a website with more details (WIP).
enjoy your meal!
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
