Replace Skyrim's lame intimidation dialogue with something scarier

Please note that I have a username change, so although the uploader name is different from my profile name, it is only known that I, TheRealChivels, uploaded this mod. If you want to check out this mod or talk about this mod please credit "TheRealChivels" or just "Chivels".

Requires SSE Link

DLC: Dawnguard and Dragonborn

Well, listen mama, I have another complaint about Skyrim and I'm going to teach you all the little stupid things about it! The player dialogue options used to intimidate are weak and lame! I mean, seriously, "Why didn't you tell me for free?" Scary? To replace that particular line with the one I used as an example of how intimidation works: "Either you tell me what you know, or I'll tear the flesh from your bones." Even scarier! In fact, I went through the Creation Kit and I trudged through all the dialogue and quests in Skyrim so that I could replace all the pathetic scares with something scarier!

Frequently Asked Questions: -

Do you really get all the intimidation options?

I left a few alone, but I think I got them all.

  • What exactly does this mod do?

I went through all the dialogue, replacing player-chosen intimidation and some other lines that I thought were deserved; for example, I replaced the Resisting Arrest line and the line you can say to Delphine where you originally said "You better start explaining. Quick."

  • With Talos, why would you do more lines than just intimidation? !

Don't put your panties in a pile, I changed a lot of the non-intimidating lines.

  • Would you make a version with only threats -..?

No!

  • Why do some lines have a shortened "(Int.)" or no scare indicators at all?

There's an annoying ass character restriction. I think even those who lack intimidation indicators are easy to identify because of their savage nature.

  • I found a way to expand my character's limits!

Yes, I have a few comments on the SSE page telling me this, and I'm very grateful to those who shared the path with me, but I don't think I'll be using it to edit this mod; it would be a lot of work to go through all the dialogue again and fix what I've changed. I'm grateful to know this as I will definitely be using this method for dialogue in any future mods! :) -

Is it compatible with (mod X)?

Yes, just load it below (mod X) in the load order.

  • Why so much swearing? !

Because fuck you, that's why.

  • I mean, really, you need that much -...?

Don't tell me what to do, shitbird!

-

Well...damn it.

-...Do people really ask these questions?

No, I just make these FAQs for sharts and chords because I have a very crude sense of humor.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
