About this mod Machine translation
Replaces the textures of eggs and nests, allowing you to open them like a destructive force
This mod has two parts:
First, it replaces the textures of the eggs and nests. It also affects Hearthfire's eyrie and eggs.
Secondly, it allows you to use weapons, arrows, or spells to open eggs to obtain raw yolks and eggshells. Spider eggs don't drop shells or yolks, but if you don't have to fight them, they will explode into a spider hatch anywhere (a valuable lesson for your Dovahkiin, or for them to continue their war against spiders). This mod does not use any scripts to accomplish this task.
Egg yolks are a food item that makes for an easy meal if you have some eggs but don't have a cooking pot, or just want to feel like Gaston. The casing is a very weak version of this ingredient - it's basically garbage, but being pickupable allows you to clean up the mess!
If you just want to use renthal's textures you can do that here
Find them.
There is also an option to make it fragile (where allowed) using renthal311's nest and egg models and esp. There's a comparison screen above to help you choose. allow
Break the egg model from here.
Lets you break eggs in Skyrim; textures using AVI (fixed missing pine tree thrush texture)
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
