About this mod Machine translation
Model replacer for Daedric and Bound arrows and quivers. It changes the arrowheads from a pincer-like design to a sharper shape, and changes the quiver to an entirely new mesh that better matches the rest of the daedric equipment. It also adds glowing parts to glowing quivers and arrows.
Skyrim's arrow design has always looked weird to me. The pincer-like tip, lack of luster, the tremor is really just a reconstruction of the quiver of the iron arrow, and overall just a rough feel to the design.
This mod is my idea of how they should look. I designed the arrows with sharp tips, jagged edges, and glowing patches to more closely match the rest of the infantry weapon design. I rebuilt the quiver from scratch and designed it to better match the rest of the daedric armor.
This mod also affects bound arrows and flutters so that they match changes to rhythmic changes.
These models reference vanilla textures and are therefore compatible with any retexture mod. The arrow represents the texture of the mace, the arrow axis represents the texture of the arrowhead, and the quiver represents the texture of the body armor, gloves, and boots. In my screenshots I'm using textures from SkyRealism-Shiny.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
