About this mod Machine translation
You can now cast any spell from a weapon or unenchanted staff.
describe
This is a simple mod for aspiring Battlemage. If you have a weapon enchanted with the Arcana, or an unenchanted staff, you can cast spells through them with a Power attack.
To set this up, use a smaller strategy configuration that should be added when loading the game. With this feature, you can set up spells to be used when performing powerful attacks. You can set up different spells to use in standing, forward, left, right, backward and pounding power attacks. You can also set the spells that are cast when using an unenchanted staff.
Also using the Battlemage Configuration feature, you can select additional configuration files to use. You can set up to 5 profiles, including 6 powerful attack casts, as well as personnel casts. In MCM you can also set a hotkey to change which profile you are using at any time.
Other notes:
- Gain arcane enchantments from arcane steel swords. You can find one in Farengar's dormitory.
-Use this system
Spells cast do grant some experience, but can only be used in combat - Concentration spells can be used, but only last for one second -
Due to the mechanics of the mod, these spells won't always line up perfectly to attack -
Experienced Staff can be purchased from the vendor at Winterhold Academy or from Neloth in Solstheim
- Casting spells via a staff is slightly less expensive than casting spells via a weapon or by hand
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
