An updated version of Bath in Skyrim that includes some newer doohickeys and other features.
Bathed in Skyrim Tuning
describe:
An updated version from Skyrim Bath with some newer doohickeys and more.
change:
Dirt is now used as a race menu overlay. So when you cast a spell and reappear when the spell expires, the dust doesn't magically disappear. View screenshot. BiS Dirt + Oakflesh Spells play well together.
The dirt starts out slightly transparent and gradually becomes opaque and dirtier. Due to this change, the "dirt" texture is no longer applied, but you are still "dirt"
Added concept of character shyness - optional. Bathing characters will be less willing to strip down to their underwear in the center of town and continue bathing.
Taking a bath will make you wet, and he will plummet (frost).
Fixed an issue with Npcs losing dust. Npcs never really got dirty in original BiS because the dirt information was attached to the magic effect and the magic effect terminated when the actor was removed = information was lost.
Added import/export settings for PapyrusUtil. No offense, but I've never used FISS.
Some minor fixes to some minor errors in the original file (probably added a lot though)
Fixed magic absorption/reflection flags on cloak spells causing blue swirling magic effects to conflict with Requiem and other mods.
Dirt texture set. Tired of looking at the same old grime? BiS has been tuned to support up to 5 different dirt texture sets. See below for details.
Contains *ahem* features of other adult modules, which will not be described in detail here. If you're wondering, visit the thread on Loverslab and scroll down to the "Bathing in Skyrim Tweaked" entry.
Require:
- Original BiS is required. 2. RaceMenu
- PapyrusUtil
Remember to endorse these documents in these documents.
PapyrusUtil is included in some mods. Make sure you download the latest version above and it's not overwritten by another version.
These settings need to be changed in RaceMenus nioverride.ini, which can be found at: '\Skyrim\Data\SKSE\Plugins'
Change the number of coverages per area (face/hands/body/feet) to 14 (or more if you wish):
iNumOverlays = 14, need to be set by the following
Enable face overlays individually for content: bEnableFaceOve0lays = 1
Install:
BiS was adapted to use the FoMod installer, which automatically detects soft dependencies and installs interface scripts into those soft dependencies based on activity in the load order. Therefore, you should not install mods manually unless you know what you are doing. You should also install BiS Tweaked on fully loaded orders. If esp is not activated in the load order when installing, the empty interface script will be installed, so links to this soft dependency will not work. This is to prevent nasty bugs that can happen when 2 or more scripts make function calls to an external script that doesn't exist.
There is a drawback to this: if you add/remove soft dependencies, BiS should be reinstalled to get the correct interface scripts. But trust me, it's better this way. If you are affected by the above errors, you may lose your shit. You can thank Bethesda.
BiS adjusted the soft dependency list:
Frostfall
Sexlab
Fade Tattoos
Pee&Fart
Everything except a normal installation.
Install into an existing game:
- Load and save.
- Disable BiS in its MCM. Exit MCM and wait a second or two.
- Save and exit the game.
- Install adjustments. Load your save and enable the mod. You go get dirty
uninstall:
- Remove all coverings in the MCM and wait for "Done!"
- Disable mods
- Uninstall and clear your saves.
Texture set:
You don't need to add any other textures for the mod to work. This part is optional. You also don't need to populate the folders for each setting. The original replacement texture is included as "Set1" by default because it's the best of the original textures imo.
BiS Tweaked supports up to 5 different dirt texture sets. Install additional sets into '\Te …
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
