About this mod Machine translation
A mod that attempts to bring back the attribute system from past TES games to work with Skyrim's perks and skill systems.
- What is this mod? -
In short, Attributes Reborn is a mod that aims to restore the attributes system of past Elder Scrolls games.
When starting the game, you will assign 7 attributes starting from selecting attribute points: Strength, Intelligence, Willpower, Agility, Endurance, Personality and Speed. Along with this attribute system, its own leveling system runs in parallel with Skyrim's leveling system. Essentially, the exp system works exactly like Skyrim's system. As you level up your skills, you gain experience based on your skill level. Once you level up, you need to rest in a bed to increase your attributes. Only two attributes can be added per level.
- What does each attribute do? -
Glad you asked, my friend. Starting with update 2.0, there is a new MCM menu that allows players to decide what each attribute will be modified, allowing others to customize the mod to their own needs. Currently, customization is a bit limited, but my goal is to add more customization options over time.
- compatibility? -
Since this mod is still relatively new, I'm a little unsure about most potential compatibility issues. However, I ran this mod with an alternate launch mod while testing, and I can say that any alternate launch mod is most likely to work with this mod. If you find any bugs or compatibility issues, please let me know!

Q&A--Q: Will you add ______?
Answer: Possibly. I would like to bring more customization to this mod to provide a more personalized experience, so please recommend or request new features as I would like to see this mod grow, but one can only come up with so many ideas on one's own, so please make suggestions and requests in the comments and discussions!
Q: Is there a special edition version?
A: Technically, yes. This mod is already compatible with Special Edition. All you need to do is install the files in Special Edition and you should be good to go. Finally, I'll add a special edition page for this mod to make it easier for others! Please try to remember that I am only doing this alone!
Q: Why is it marked as unbalanced?
A: This is temporary as I haven't added buffs to the NPCs yet in order to balance this mod. It's going to be one of the next big updates, but it may be far away from the time I write this. (as of v2.0)
Q: When is the next update?
Answer: I'm not sure. Maybe a week? Maybe a month? The Elder Scrolls can tell the future, but they tell many possible futures, making it difficult to know which one will become reality....
Q: Can I use a pre-existing character?
A: Yes, but various bugs and balance conflicts can occur when using pre-existing characters. For now, it's better to create a new role until I start adding support for pre-existing roles.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
