About this mod Machine translation
Be different. Become an Archmage through the power of the Scroll and with the help of the Atronach Forge.
Ever tried a game like drinking milk, oops, I mean non-mage, without the perks or tomes of a mage, but instead relying on some form of magic every now and then? Well, the answer is Winterhold Academy, hidden deep within Midden.
This mod POWERS-UP vanilla scroll can be easily accessed via the Atronach Forge in Midden.
When using a scroll, with the exception of Blizzard (see UESP), no skill points are added to the relevant skill tree, so base level progress is not affected. This is important for players who want to keep their levels low and only increase a few perks that are important to roleplaying.
Some scrolls will appear in certain merchants, or will appear later in certain merchants, but only if the player improves or improves their skills only a small amount. The advantage of Atronach Forge is that it ignores that part of the list that is already leveled. As long as you have gathered the materials and are ready, you can easily obtain advanced scrolls that are unavailable to novices.
When using Atronach Forge, always wait for the transformation effect to appear before turning the joystick again. Instructions for using the Forge can be found in the Atronach Forge Manual, which lists the required scroll materials.
Some scrolls are unavailable on Atronach Forge because I feel they are redundant and inferior, while some scrolls should not be included because I feel they are exclusive and highly classified (Scrolls of Thrall, for example), even though they are not really special.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
