About this mod Machine translation
This mod makes Arvak look more like a regular horse, giving him better stats and some new abilities to make him more interesting. ::Function::
This mod replaces Arvak's skeletal horsenet with a regular horse, improves his attributes, and adds some fire-themed abilities that pay tribute to his roots in Norse mythology.
This mod can do a few things:
It edits Arvak's textures and meshes.
It provides Arvak with its own independent saddle.
It allows Arvak's level to scale with the player - Arvak now has more health at higher levels compared to vanilla Arvak.
It ensures that Arvak doesn't break the player's invisibility while sneaking, and keeps it from "reporting" any crimes your character commits.
It sets Arvak to be aggressive only in battles against weaker enemies, and gives him a fire cloak spell that activates during combat and damages enemies within range.
It gives Arvak complete immunity to falling damage.
It makes Arvak 100% poison and disease resistant.
It makes Arvak 100% fire resistant but 100% frost resistant.
It gives Arvak the ability to walk on water and some spells to fight enemies.
It adds some stealth skills that improve effectiveness, and quiet casting skills that improve his skills and spells.
It gives him some extra attributes that make him more survivable, such as extra armor, health, health regeneration, damage reflection, and spell absorption.
It increases Arvak's speed by 50% and gives him some extra stamina to sprint for longer periods of time. Endurance recovery has also been added to reduce downtime between sprints.
At night, once the stars disappear and it's not cloudy, Arvak goes into "Star Strider" mode. In this state, Arvak becomes ethereal, tiny balls of light like the stars he emits. In this state, Arvak will gain a 12.5% speed bonus (a net speed of 62.5% bonus speed) and some extra stamina to help "increase" Arvak's speed further by sprinting. Tip: Players can strategically use the Clear Skies shout at night to make the stars shine over Arvak. Starfighter will grant him 50% immunity to physical damage and increase his skills in melee combat.
Arvak goes into "Daywalker" status between 5am and 9pm when it's not raining. In this state, Arvak will be covered in small flames. The Wanderer will gain 25% bonus speed (net 75% bonus speed) as well as some extra mana to cast his spells. Daywalker also increases the efficiency of Arvak's spells.
This mod will not:
Edited summoning Arvak spell.
Edit a horse or use your own custom horse.
Giving him overwhelming statistics that instantly kill his enemies.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
