About this mod Machine translation
Edit the Argonian tail so that it changes with the character's weight. Thin Argonians have thin tails, and bulky Argonians have heavy tails.
This mod adds deformation to the Argonian tail so that the weight of the tail matches the body mass.
It bothered me that the Argonian's tail was always so thin even though the character's body was bulky. The only solution I've seen to this problem is a larger Aragonian tail, which increases the size of the tail on ALL Argonians. However, I always feel like thicker tails look too big on smaller characters.
Instead, this mod uses the elongated vanilla tail as the minimum deformation and adds a new mesh with roughly the same maximum deformation as the Bigger Argonian Tails. Medium-weight Argonians have tails that fall squarely between these two sizes. Transformation works on NPCs as well as player characters.
This mod will conflict with anything that replaces the Argonian tail mesh. Technically any tail armor mod can be used with this mod, but if they don't have a deformation mesh they won't properly reflect the character's weight.
This mod is compatible with texture and animation replacers.
This mod also has options to move the tail position upward: "Tail higher" and "Tail slightly higher". If you want to use these files, download the master file and overwrite the model with the desired version. If you only want the female's tail to be higher than the male's, replace the female mesh only.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
