About this mod Machine translation
Replace Nirn's bilunar moons with more conventional luminous lunar bodies.
"Operation Joff, sir. Let's bring out the second moon." -Unknown Court Counselor Replaced Masser and Secunda with a single bright, light-colored moon, also adding a glow effect. While larger (by a fair amount) than our own local moon and sharing its appearance, the size is reduced to be closer to our own rather than the giant vanilla moon that looms above us. Contains replacement textures for Masser, moonshadow and Secunda, as well as a small, scriptless .esp that modifies the size of Masser and eliminates Secunda from the sky. The appearance and severity of the corona effect will depend heavily on cloud cover and ENB [sky] settings. It is recommended to use lunar intensity close to default and a higher lunar desaturation curve, or at least my idea should be considered.
As far as I know, if you have existing mods that rely on Masser cycles, they should not be affected. I don't know depending on what happened with Secunda, they might not be happy. Find out. However, if you are a pilgrim with a special relationship with the moon, you may already be used to this, and you are more than welcome to modify it to suit your lifestyle choices.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
