About this mod Machine translation
Increases the speed of all arrows and bolts and causes them to fly further before flying towards the ground. This special speed makes archery more realistic and satisfying while respecting the gameplay mechanics.
This mod increases the projectile speed of all arrows and arrows by 42%. They also fly farther before falling to the ground.
Allows all projectiles to hit farther targets, causes arrows to fly through the center of the crosshair, disables auto-aim, and prevents NPCs from dodging like Neo!
The Plus version also changes the incorrect Bullseye perk to Seasoned Aim: the bow's critical strike damage is increased by 25%, while ignoring 15% of the armor. Standalone version available.
Mods and all patches can be merged into one "mashed patch" to save load order slots.
If you have the Awesome Artifact installed, Nightingale Arrows will be automatically scaled.
Comes with an .ini file that automatically sets the correct target settings for you. If it doesn't work in your data folder, copy its contents into skyrim.ini.
These settings have been tested and fine-tuned over several years to achieve what I consider to be the perfect compromise between realism and good gameplay.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
