About this mod Machine translation
Aranea is a minion with a cool name and an interesting (if limiting) backstory. However, she cannot marry and her combat effectiveness is low, especially due to the blocked stomata.
So I took matters into my own hands and fixed some of those issues, making her essential, marryable, canceling her summons and tweaking her appearance a bit.
As mentioned in the description, Aranea is my minion, which I liked from pure name (big Spider fan here), but found that she was really annoying in combat and couldn't marry her without a mod or some console shenanigans, so... I threw together a small .esp to fix what I thought was the problem, and in the process changed her appearance a bit to better suit my personal taste.
So this is mainly a mod for my personal use, but I thought I'd better share it so others can use it.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
