This mod adds a minor power that allows you to administer potions and poisons to friendly NPCs to enhance or heal them.
This mod adds a minor power that allows you to administer potions and poisons to friendly NPCs to enhance or heal them.
Pen and paper games like D&D and Pathfinder allow you to administer potions to friendly NPCs, so I thought I'd make a mod that did the same thing for Skyrim.
How this works:
After installing this mod, you will notice a new feature called "Manage Potions". When you approach a friendly NPC and use this power, you can choose a potion or poison from the Giftmenu. If it is this potion, the NPC will consume it immediately, otherwise any poison will be applied to the NPC weapon immediately.
It even works with homemade potions and poisons.
For buffering potions ("Fortify X") to work properly on NPCs, you need ASIS, specifically its "NPC Enchantment Fix" module.
As of version 1.1, you need the inventory feature for poison to work.
(No Nazeems were actually harmed in the making of this model. Anyone who dies is always resurrected.)
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
