About this mod Machine translation
A set of tweaks that tone down certain aspects of Requiem in a (hopefully) immersive way.
summary:
-Hire fee is set to 1000. -
The horse purchase fee is set to 2000.
-Significantly reduced the health regeneration rate of Trolls, Spriggans, Enchanted Mana Orbs, and Dragon Priests, but increased their health to compensate (or Armor in the case of Mana Orbs). Being affected by appropriate elemental damage almost negates their regeneration.
-Dwemer Constructs now gain much less damage reduction from non-hard weapons (25% -> 75%), but gain a respectable armor rating. (650) (Requiem 1.9.4 only)
- Removed sneak attack immunity from Draugr and Dwemer Constructs.
- Slightly lowered the armor class value Requiem gives to Frost Spiders, Draenor, and some Mudcrabs (and Rieklings, if you have Fozar's mod). (400->300)
-Reduced the dragon's armor rating. (900->850)
-Reduced the elemental resistances and vulnerabilities of Frost Dragon and Fire Dragon, and adjusted the resistances of other creatures.
-Sanguinare Vampiris disease now only reduces maximum health by 75.
-The Lover Stone skill now also provides minor buffs to Barter and Illusion. (10%)
-Hagging is slightly more effective.
-Reduced the price of Soul Gem and Healing Salve in half. ...Additionally, submerged Slaughterfish no longer dies within 3 seconds. Now it's more like 30 seconds... -
Non-RRM 1.9.4 only: NPC doubles the spell cost of Balance Requiem Mage enemies.
-1.9.4 RMR version: RMR reduces the duration of potions, mainly to reduce costs.
- Campfire + Adjustments to the Need for Survival experience (optional): Removed Smithing perk requirements from some of the original crafting recipes (leather armor, tanning rack, wooden bow, linen wraps on clothes).
Install:
Simply place the .esp in Skyrim's Data folder and activate it in the load order after Requiem and any other mods listed here.
It should be safe to add or remove it during playback. Update in case of rebalancing - more secure.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
