About this mod Machine translation
Changed some changes to rewritten absorb spells, such as removing anti-cheat
2019/07/06 Already
Updated for Requiem 2.0.2, looks like it should work with 3.1.0
What it does:
- Absorb Sense: Reverted to 1.9.4.1 way (charge, optional hold, then explode)
-Absorb Health: is now a channeled spell that starts working almost immediately, with no anti-cheats or "force-casting". Cannot be adjusted by hitting multiple targets or by tapping. Also, it now only drains 50% of your health.
-Absorbed Stamina: Adjusted in the same way as Absorbed Health (recovers 100% of Stamina). It's a bit more powerful.
-Absorb Magician: Now a charge and shoot spell (similar to the Dreaded Orb). The cost of Magicka only corresponds to skill points/perks. Magicka that drains targets can be completed faster, but missing or hitting an already drained target can be very detrimental.
-Absorbing Essence: I'm keeping this one in as I haven't tested it properly yet.
Notice:
-Changed spell descriptions were broken so numbers were removed
-The changes meant I had to come up with new numbers for the spell pen holders, I just roughly balanced them out. You may need to adjust xEdit further. My goal is "not as destructive as Destruction, not as healing as Alchemy/Restoration, but still very useful".

User kiskoller of r/skyrimrequiem first came up with the idea. I started by following their instructions and then adjusted from there.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
