About this mod Machine translation
A simple follower who knows how to play a new song and smash enemies with the lute, has a pet, gets some druid spells to borrow, can turn into a horse so you can ride him... and can be found wandering in front of Whiterun's rearguard barracks.
Aalri-Half Wood Elf Half Nord Hybrid Bard-Druid Follower
*He and his pets used to be the main characters in my canceled quest mod, but I did keep a diary in his backpack as a summary, and its sequel is still in my published Neverwinter Nights mod (yes, I wanted to make a series of mods for different video games connected to each other, but I gave up on it due to time constraints). how:
Extract the rar file, drag and drop Alexamin.esp and other files into the Data folder within Skyrim's Data folder, and activate it.
Or use the mod manager.
Update: I had to remove the BSA version due to my problem, I can't see the bard dialogue in the game (maybe it works for someone else or they just know that repackaging it fixes the issue or re-downloading please get the original file from the downloads section). In any case, delete the BSA version (if you still have it) and re-download the original, uncompressed file.
Bugs I found after releasing my mod for a while, last comments and other stuff: Very small bugs, like dialogue bugs or when Aalri plays the lute, sometimes he doesn't play the lute animation (especially when you or he is moving). Forgot to edit the Gnarls' spell description, I can only summon one of them since I'm only using one of them, Aalri's pet has no loot and is full of grammatical errors.
Requirements: Skyrim classic with all its DLC and latest patches.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
